Built on a Belief That Materials Matter

MetaMinds Advisors LLC was founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 2009 with a single conviction: that the materials used to build and finish a space are not secondary decisions they are the defining ones.

Our founders spent years in the construction and design industries watching clients settle for materials that were available rather than materials that were right. They built MetaMinds Materials to change that equation establishing direct relationships with quarries, mills, and manufacturers across Europe, Asia, and the Americas to give American clients access to the world's finest building materials.

Today, MetaMinds Materials serves residential homeowners, commercial developers, architects, and interior designers across eight states, supplying materials for projects ranging from single-room renovations to multi-million-dollar commercial build-outs. Our 12,000 sq ft Louisville showroom displays over 400 live material samples the largest curated collection in Kentucky.

20+ years in architectural materials. Previously sourcing director at a leading Chicago-based architecture firm before founding MetaMinds in 2009.

Director of Design

Licensed interior designer with an MFA from Parsons. Leads our design consultation practice and oversees all residential and hospitality projects.

Carlos Kimura

Head of Global Sourcing

Fluent in five languages, Carlos manages our supplier relationships across Europe, Asia, and South America. Based 90+ days per year at source locations.
